 Our small family run business offers a professional service, where all matters are treated in confidence, in the comfort and convenience of your own home, ensuring that there’s no buses, taxis or car parking costs to consider and comes with free conversation and a soothing foot massage too!

Richard, with over 15 years' experience is also our specialist in Biomechanics Orthotics (personally custom made fitted insoles), Nikki joined the practice in early 2018.

Both undertook the extensive training at

 The SMAE Institute (1919) Ltd in Maidenhead and hold a Diploma in Foot Health. 

Both are members of the MCFHP (Open College of Foot Health Professionals) & MAFHP (Association of Foot Health Professionals) and associate members of the British Chiropody & Podiatry Association.

Both are DBS checked, Fully Insured and Experienced in Foot Health Care, we offer a fair priced professional service with a discount for couples.

We are able to treat a wide range of foot conditions, including corns, calluses, thick nail reduction, verruca’s, fungal infections (nail & skin) and ingrowing toenails, we also give specialist advice regarding foot care for those suffering with diabetes .

 Richard is also qualified in Biomechanics, this means he studied the structure and function of the mechanical aspects of the lower limb and can liberate you from the pain and frustration felt, not just in your feet but your back, knee(s) or hip(s). 

We ensure that we adhere to the regulations for sterility of all of our instruments to safeguard against cross infection and as professionals, we regularly attend further continual professional development training with The SMAE Institute (1919) Ltd ensuring our knowledge and techniques remain current and up to date.

With our wealth of experience and knowledge, we can advise and/or treat all structural issues of the foot, from verrucae to fungal nails, we will also recommend an appropriate aftercare routine for you if appropriate.

 
We have a variety of products, including many types of foot creams and foot related paraphernalia required to meet your personal needs.

We start with an initial assessment, we will ask personal details pertaining to you, details of your GP and any relevant medical information. (If you take medication, it may help you to have your repeat prescription list to hand). This allows us as specialists to diagnose and devise an individually tailored treatment plan to meet the needs of your feet.  We will liaise with you prior to, and throughout the treatment process to ensure comfort and understanding.

We will discuss why you’ve booked a visit and if in pain, take a full history of when it started, details around the pain experienced and what makes it better or worse. We will examine your feet and lower limbs, it is very useful for us to see the shoes you often wear as these may give us clues as to why you have pain.

The routine treatment begins with trimming of the nails, ensuring they are cut and filed with any nail conditions (i.e. ingrown and/or thickened) being treated. Any callus or corns removed with any other ailments also being addressed. 

We will end the treatment with a gentle and relaxing foot massage to rejuvenate and reinvigorate those aches and pains!
