With the increase of COVID-19, HIV, HBV, MRSA and the risk of cross infection, we have introduced a patient's charter to ensure the safety of our patients and health care professionals too.
All our instruments are sterilised in an Autoclave at 134°C; this is done to prevent cross infection.
Our hands are either washed with anti-bacterial soap and water, and/or alcohol skin wash, with the ongoing threat from COVID-19 we will be wearing FFP2 face masks as well as the standard fresh set of gloves are used for each patient.
We ask (if possible) that our patients also wear a face mask or covering.
We take a full medical history of each patient which will be taken upon the first visit and our records are kept up to date.
Patient information will be kept confidential.
The foot will be disinfected before it is examined/treated.
A new disposable scalpel blade is used for each new patient (if treatment requires)
All procedures performed on the patient will include the latest aseptic techniques and all our equipment, instruments, medicaments and dressings used are of the highest quality.
We have a commitment to ongoing training to ensure the highest degree of treatment is delivered to the patient and provide a professional, personal and outstanding foot health care treatment to each and every patient.
